Bok tower Gardens
More than just beautiful gardens, Bok Tower Gardens is a leader in conservation on the Lake Wales Ridge Ecosystem.You'll be helping to return one of Bok Tower's preserve areas back to pristine habitat by removing invasive plants.

Please wear sunscreen and bring your work gloves. Drinking water and all other equipment needed will be provided.
Please wear sturdy shoes, long pants/long sleeves, and a hat. You may wish to bring a hiker's water bottle or similar to carry drinking water.
Meet in the Main Parking Lot (Aisle 2 and near the Visitor Center)
From Highway 60 East or West: Go to Lake Wales and proceed north on U.S. Highway 27. Turn right on Mountain Lake Cutoff Road. At the caution light, turn right (south) onto County Road 17 (also known as Scenic Highway). Proceed on CR 17 for 3/4 miles. Turn left (east) onto Burns Avenue (also known as County Road 17-A). Proceed on Burns Avenue for 1.3 miles. On your left you'll see a main entrance sign to Bok Tower Gardens. Turn left and proceed to the entrance gate.
The attendent at the entrance gate will provide directions to the main parking lot.
No entrance fee for NPLD participants.
