Looking for Ridge Rangers to help with outreach at CCC Days

We're going to be engaging attendees to help pot long leaf pine seeds at the Ridge Rangers booth

Sprouts from the potted acorns will be planted in the spring to restore damaged habitat.

We'll also be doing traditional outreach: talking about the Lake Wales Ridge Ecosystem and recruiting for the Ridge Rangers.

Set up as two sessions roughly four hours each, please select your preference (morning or afternoon)

Be sure to pick the session when you register, and you'll have plenty of time to walk around to see the other exhibits

CCC Days is a comunity festival held each year by Highlands Hammock State Park, and celebrates the role of the Civilian Conservation Corps in establishing the park.
