We'll be helping to restore one of Bok Tower Garden's conservation areas by hand pulling invasive plants.

How this effort helps:

Invasive plants can take over a native habitat, eliminating homes for native animals and plants. Hand-pulling by humans prevents chemical or mechanical damage to native species.

Please wear long pants/long sleeves, sturdy closed-toe shoes, and a hat. Bring your work gloves and a hiker's water bottle or similar. We'll have plenty of cold drinking water and all the tools needed.

Meet at the Hort Building (usual place) at Bok Tower Gardens at 8 AM. We'll carpool to the work area from there.

Please tell the gate attendant that you're volunteering so you won't be charged admission.
