Help remove invasive lantana

Lake Louisa State Park

A short drive from Orlando, this park is noted for its beautiful lakes, rolling hills and scenic landscapes. Lake Louisa, the largest in a chain of 13 lakes, is designated an Outstanding Florida Water Way.

Your efforts removing these invasive plants will help restore a former citrus grove located within the park to pristine sand pine habitat.

Please be sure to register via the button above so we know you're coming!

(and so you'll be in the loop for any last minute information)

Please bring your work gloves. Drinking water will be provided.

Also, please wear sunscreen, sturdy closed-toe shoes, long pants/long sleeves, and a hat. You may wish to bring a hiker's water bottle or similar to carry drinking water.

Lake Louisa State Park is located just south of Clermont and on the west side of US 27. Meet in the parking lot by the entrance gate (no entrance fee for volunteers helping on this effort).
