May's Prairie at Chinsegut is an ideal spawning location for huge numbers of amphibious species. The lack of predators such as fish mean that tadpoles and other small amphibians can grow in relative safety. In this two hour program participants can collect and ID amphibious organisms on the border of May's Prairie using the easy ID sheets available at the Center. Center will provide nets, plan to bring a headlamp an water boots if you have them. Getting wet is not required, participants may choose to simply observe. Register on-line or call (352) 754-6722.
