Most people are aware that tree rings can tell us the age of a tree. There is so much more information contained in these seemingly simple rings than meets the eye. This hour and a half long program will introduce some of the ways that tree-rings can enlighten us about environmental conditions and some of the ways in which trees are aged. This is a free program, best suited for ages 10+.
