What we'll be doing?

We will meet at the land side of the island in the carpark. Staff from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Department of Environmental Protection will meet volunteers and escort them on a short walk to the project site. We will be planting marsh grass within our project site to restore fish and wildlife habitat, reduce erosion and help stabilize the coastline.

What you should bring?

You should bring footwear that can get muddy and wet. We will be working in knee deep saltwater. We recommend that you bring a hat, sunscreen and bug spray. You should also bring a water bottle with you.
