FWC are looking for volunteers to assist with public outreach at the Florida State Fair. Each year we house a wide range of exhibits in the 'Red Barn' demonstrating all the wonders of Florida's wildlife. For 2019 our focus is on 'Reconnecting with nature' and we have lots of native species on exhibit. We also have exhibits from aquatic plant nonnative section, Law enforcement, Hunting and Game management, and our researchers from the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute.

Training
We have prepared training materials which are available on the FWCs eLearning site.
You will need to set up a user name and password of your choice and you will then gain access to the training materials. This training is for all those wishing to volunteer. If you have any difficulties signing up for training please email Brendan at Brendan.OConnor@myfwc.com
We encourage all those planning to volunteer to review the materials to ensure that you know what species are present and to become familiar with FWCs message on each issue. I realize many of you have volunteered in previous years but we want to ensure you are as informed as possible to answer questions from the public and to fully enjoy this experience.
