What we'll be doing?

We will be removing old debris and litter from a mangrove parcel within the WEA. Debris and litter pose a high risk to fish and wildlife through entanglement and ingestion. We will provide gloves, grabbers and all the materials we need for the cleanup.

What should you bring?

Wear closed toe shoes (i.e. no flip flops) that can get wet and dirty. Long pants and long sleeve shirt are recommended to keep the sun and bugs off of you. Bring sunscreen, insect repellent and a hat. We will provide water but please bring your own water bottle.

Consider bringing an extra t-shirt to join us after the cleanup for a free snack lunch buffet and refreshing soft drinks provided by Kiki’s Sandbar.

We will meet at 8:30 am on the corner of Meyer Rd. and Barry Ave. in Little Torch Key.

If you have any difficulty signing up for the activity, drop me an email and let me know you're planning on attending
