Guest instructor Dr. Bill Lester, from Hernando County’s UF/IFAS Extension office, is joining us to provide this interactive program on pollinators for kids. The program will include a lesson plan designed by University of Florida experts intended for grades 5-8 (ages 10-14) with tools to learn about pollinators and how to grow a pollinator garden at home or school. We plan to spend part of the class outdoors catching insects with nets (provided) and recommend everyone wear close-toed shoes for this activity.

Spots are limited and registration is required (click on 'Register' above). *Please only register participating children with the parent/guardian's contact information so we can prepare the appropriate amount of supplies.
