Join us for a family friendly evening of nocturnal exploration at Chinsegut WEA! We’ll start at the conservation center with an introduction to Chinsegut, and then as the sun sets, we’ll watch the bats leave the bat boxes. After that we’ll walk down to May’s Prairie where we’ll listen to the sounds of the night from the boardwalk and overlook. Along the way we will provide UV and infrared flashlights to share in order to look for various creatures.

The hike is moderate, over uneven terrain and unpaved trails in the dark. Bug spray is recommended. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Spots are limited and registration is required. To register, click on the register button above.
