Chinsegut Birding and Wildlife Festival brings a fun-filled day of wildlife adventures on Saturday, March 24 from 7:30 am - 3 pm. Festivities begin at 7:30am with a Burrowing Owl tour and continues throughout the day with live presentations of birds of prey, reptiles and amphibians, Bachman Sparrows and more. Educational programs on red-cockaded woodpeckers, Florida Scrub Jays, Bats of Florida, and gopher tortoises. Learn about Landscaping for Wildlife and native plants.

Come meet Dr. Marc Minno, co-author of  Butterflies through Binoculars, at his book signing, then join him as he shares his wealth of knowledge on the butterfly hikes.   

Children can try their skill at matching the feats of animals at the Animal Olympics, building a bird feeder, and earning their Jr. Birder Wings Over Florida. Stroll through the Arts in the Woods wildlife artists display their creative works and sales. Lots of wildlife activities for the whole family! Free admission.
