Join Hernando and Citrus Audubon Societies in supporting wildlife rehabilitation during this annual fundraiser for HOPE Wildlife. HOPE is a licensed care facility for injured and orphaned animals including birds of prey. HOPE will attend the event with several rescued non-releasable birds to share with the public. Attendance to this event is free and there will be activities for all ages. We ask that you bring along an item to donate to HOPE as "admission" to the event.

HOPE Wildlife is looking for the community to 'chirp' in and help them as the baby bird season approaches. This second annual Baby Bird Shower is a fun activity filled day fit for all ages. There will be crafts and a puppet stage for youngsters. Other activities include guided hikes, Bird of Prey presentation by Michelle of HOPE Wildlife, Baked goods sale, white elephant and silent auctions, "Adopt" a bird and live music by Johnathan L Widger beginning at 11:30 AM. Admission is free but we ask that you bring an item to donate such as: Laundry detergent, bleach, simple green, giftcards for walmart or homedepot for enclosure repairs and bait fish for osprey, paper towels, bath towels, dawn dish soap. Bird presentation will occur around 10:30 AM please arrive on-time to attend seating is limited.
