| Chinsegut Conservation Center is offering a rare opportunity to hike the Janet Butterfield Brooks Wildlife Environmental Area, a pristine pine habitat that is not open to the public. This environmental area, which is located off of Bailey Hill Road in Brooksville, has beautiful fall wildflower views and a unique history. Join us to learn about both! The hike is just under 2 miles along sandy and somewhat uneven terrain. There are no restrooms or water fountains at Janet Butterfield, so participants will need to plan accordingly. Spots are limited and registration is required. Click on the ‘Register’ button above to begin the registration process. *Chinsegut has one track chair available on a first come, first serve basis for people with mobility challenges. If you would like to participate in this program and feel like you would benefit from the use of the chair, please contact us to request an accommodation.
