Background:
Volunteer to assist FWC Biologists at check-in locations for the 2018 Scallop Rodeo. We need help checking in scallopers, and receiving the scallops upon their return to shore.
This is part of a large bay scallop restoration effort. Individuals will be collecting live scallops from St. Joseph Bay that will placed into predator-exclusion cages to protect them from predation throughout the next year. We need volunteers to assist in checking-in these individuals at designated locations - including helping with paperwork, giving directions, and handing out permits and event-specific diver flags.
