The Schoolyard Wildlife Project is an environmental education program that can teach adult educators of K-12 students how to turn school grounds into an effective outdoors classroom. The Schoolyard Wildlife Project's resources help you incorporate Florida's natural history into your curricula to teach environmental awareness, problem-solving, basic biology and ecological principles.

The Schoolyard Wildlife Project offers hands-on, interactive, one-day workshops.

Come prepared to spend time outdoors. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, bring water, sunscreen, and any other necessary items. You can pack a lunch and bring it with you.

This is a FREE workshop! Educators will receive training, a guidebook, a certificate, and the chance to instill wildlife conservation values amongst our youngest population.

Enter Greynolds Park at NE Miami Gardens Drive and NE 22nd Avenue.  Follow road to the left and look for the river and a big picnic table.

There is a parking fee of $7.00 per vehicle.  Parking fees collected at pay stations or Pay-by-Phone. Follow instructions on posted signs after parking.
