Join us for an unforgettable owl experience with Terri Jones from PERCH (Protecting and Educating Raptors for Conservation in Hernando County). This engaging program introduces participants to the fascinating world of owls, highlighting their unique adaptations, behaviors, and important roles in Florida’s ecosystems. Terri will share insights into owl conservation and rehabilitation and, when possible, introduce live ambassador owls, giving participants a rare opportunity to see these nocturnal birds up close. This program is perfect for all ages and offers an inspiring look at how we can help protect owls and other birds of prey in our communities. Limited spots are available and registration is required (click on 'Register' above to begin). Any person who requires special accommodation to participate should notify us at least two weeks prior to the event by calling 352-754-6722 or e-mailing Chinsegut@myfwc.com. Those with hearing or speech impairments may contact the agency using the Florida Relay Service at 800-955-8771 (TDD) or 800-955-8770 (voice).
