What we'll be doing?
We will be removing trash from the public use area. In addition to being unsightly, trash can also cause injury to wildlife by ingestion, entrapment and entanglement. The vegetation in the area is high and we will be slowly working our way throughout the vegetated and open areas removing trash and placing it in trash bags, which will be provided.
We will provide trash grabbers, gloves and trash bags. Please feel free to bring your own gloves.
What should you bring with you?
We recommend long pants and closed toed shoes as the vegetation is dense and there may be sharp hazards such as glass and fishing hooks. Flip-flops are not appropriate footwear for this event.
We will provide a cooler of ice water and suggest you bring a water bottle.
The forecast is 74ยบ F so you may want to consider a hat and sunglasses.
