Join us on Saturday, August 30th as we host a fun and informative program in honor International Bat Night! We will begin with a 45 minute presentation at the center by guest speaker Shari Blissett-Clark from the Florida Bat Conservancy. Afterwards there will be time for questions and answers and an opportunity for participants to see a bat up close. Lastly, and weather permitting, we will conclude the evening by watching bats emerge from the Chinsegut bat boxes.

There is ADA parking and walkways available to access the center, but someone with mobility challenges may find it difficult to navigate to the nearby area where the bat boxes are located. Chinsegut has one track chair available on a first come, first serve basis for people with mobility challenges. If you would like to participate in this program and feel like you would benefit from the use of the chair, please contact us to request an accommodation.
