If you wish to use your personal kayak or canoe to help clean the shoreline of Escribano Point WMA during this Earth Clean-up event, please use this session to register.
All kayakers and canoers must provide and wear a life jacket at all times.
While you will remain close to the shoreline, please be aware that you will be kayaking in the bay for several hours. Please know your limitations. FWC will monitor weather conditions and will make a final decision on whether the wind, current, and overall boating conditions are safe for kayaking and/or canoeing.
If you wish to walk during this Earth Day clean-up event, please use this session to register. We will be clearing litter from the shoulder of an old public access road. The road is no longer in use, but litter stills remains near the road.
You may have to leave the road and enter the wooded shoulders of the road to collect litter. We recommend wearing closed-toed shoes and long pants and sleeves.
We will provide trash bags, gloves, and litter grabbers.
